Recently, an epidemic named "swine flu" caused a new round of human crisis. What is "swine flu"? According to wiki,swine flu refers to influenza caused by any strain of the influenza virus endemic in pigs (swine). Strains endemic in swine are called swine influenza virus (SIV).
Swine flu is common in swine and rare in humans. People who work with swine, especially people with intense exposures, are at risk of catching swine influenza if the swine carry a strain able to infect humans. However, these strains rarely are able to pass from human to human. Rarely, SIV mutates into a form able to pass easily from human to human. The strain responsible for the 2009 swine flu outbreak is believed to have undergone such a mutation. This virus is named swine flu because one of its surface proteins is similar to viruses that usually infect pigs, but this strain is spreading in people and it is unknown if it infects pigs.
Until now, the swine flu death toll in Mexico, the worst-hit country, has raised to 159 and it is said the death toll could increase. This ferocious illness remind people of SARS, the epidemic in 2003. SARS was first examined in GuangDong,China and it really caused a great painic at that time in China.The battle against SARS is very hard but finally human beings win. I believe it will be the same this time.

How much do you cost for one pair of shoes?
Recently, I am considering about buying a pair of spring casual shoes as it is getting hotter and hotter these days. According to my salary level, I can only afford a pair of shoes that cost no more than ￥150. Unfortunately, the shoes within this price range are far from satisfying, so I am wondering at which price range you can buy a pair of good shoes.
As far as I am concerned, the cost of a pair of decent military boots(Don't forget I work in a military boots factory) is no more than ￥100 which is roughly equal to $32. I guess the cost of a pair of good casual shoes is at most ￥50, but a customer has to pay triple price or even quadrupling price to get the same pair of shoes. This phenomenon is noticed by many people. Some people sensed the huge profits from this. MaYun, the founder of alibaba and taobao net is the leader of this newly emerging business. Nowadays, the B2C pattern(business to customer) such as taobao net has become very popular all over the world. Predictably, the online shopping mode will become more and more popular and may replace the traditional shopping someday. Let's hope.
